Phonic Fold-Outs

Side 1
Presents a delightfully illustrated rhyme or story that highlights a range of blends, digraphs and rimes. The lamination enables both the teacher and children to highlight target words and letters with markers, which can be wiped and reused.

Side 2
Identical to side 1, but with the text removed. Again, the lamination allows the children to develop their skills in constructing text. they can benefit from an illustrated story frame and children’s work can be “wiped off” for reuse.

You can build word banks and highlight high-frequency words by circling or underlining text with a water-based pen.	You can model the writing process or develop shared, interactive and guided writing with a water based pen.
