  • Straight forward language structures
  • Short, simple sentences

Used as a recommended reading resource  for the Hi-Five Programme (Fischer Education Project Ltd supported by Fischer Family Trust)  - designed to develop independent reading and writing strategies for children working at Level 2C - aimed at Year 5 onwards. 

Fischer Education Project Hi-Five is a small group/one-to-one reading and writing intervention for pupils in Year 5 or above, who are working at a low level 2 in reading and writing. The intervention lasts for a minimum of ten weeks. It aims to help pupils develop independent reading and writing strategies as well as study skills.
