Content
Teachers told us they want specific content and illustrations such as people with disabilities,
multi-cultural, stories from other countries, plays, poetry, non-fiction, instructions and procedural texts. Kingscourt Reading has all of these throughout the whole programme. You can
download a list of these titles from our website
Kingscourt Reading is used in the following ways:
- Guided Reading
- Paired Reading
- Independent Reading
- Home Reading
Kingscourt Reading is also successfully used in the following Wave 3 programmes:
- Every Child A Reader Kingscourt Reading and other Kingscourt product ranges are suitable for Every Child A Reader
- Reading Recovery Kingscourt Reading Books are levelled from 1 – 30 and features in the suggested guide for Reading Recovery resources by the Reading Recovery Network at the Institute of Education
- Better Reading Kingscourt Reading is on the recommend list of titles
- Catch-Up Kingscourt Reading books are levelled from 1 – 9, with other titles in the Kingscourt product range featuring up to level 12.
