Designed to help children understand the world around them and the common place situations and emotions that they might encounter in a sensitive and imaginative way.

Everybody Feels
presents young readers with a range of situations involving different emotions. Readers are encouraged to think about how they would react in similar circumstances and given the vocabulary they need to express their feelings successfully. The books are designed to help children understand and cope with new, and sometimes bewildering, situations as they grow up. Each title features two stories, sensitively told from a child's perspective and involving common scenarios.

The Understanding storybooks allow small children to get to grips with upsetting and bewildering situations that might be affecting them or people around them. Beautiful artwork and ultimately uplifting stories encourage young readers to talk about their own experiences. The author deals sensitively with issues surrounding parental separation, adoption, bereavement and bullying. Young readers will recognize that emotions they may be experiencing are 'normal' and are shared by many others.

Manners storybooks are designed to show children the importance of good manners in a lively, light-hearted way. Simple text makes each book perfect for beginners to read alone or for younger learners to explore with an adult, and helpful parent and teacher notes are included to help consolidate learning.
