With these titles pupils are able to:

  • Create their own stories.
  • Practise speaking and listening.
  • Practise thinking skills.
  • Practise writing skills.

Suggested activities include:

  • Give the characters names and where they live.
  • Help the children to decide if the story is true to life or fantasy.
  • Use the picture summary circles (in most titles) for prediction and sequencing activities.
  • Use Stick-On Notes to add speech bubbles to the characters - (order Stick-On Notes on page 5 of the Order Form).
  • Can be used for modern foreign languages.
