The price displayed is inclusive of UK VAT at the appropriate rate. VAT is not charged on books but it is charged on CDs. Prices are updated daily. All online transactions on this website are charged in GBP sterling. Exchange rates vary and McGraw-Hill Education has no control over the rate used by credit card companies. Subsequently, the exchange rate and the conversion amount shown are approximations. Clicking on any of the prices in the shopping basket will give an approximate translation in Euros. We endeavour to ensure correct prices are shown on our websites but we reserve the right to change and correct prices. In this instance, we will ensure the customer is notified and asked if they wish to proceed with their purchase.

Post & Packaging charges

Post and packaging (P&P) is FREE for standard delivery within the UK and Central Europe on orders totalling £20 or more - click here to see which countries are included in each delivery zone. Please see the table below for P&P charges to other areas and courier charges. You will only be charged one P&P fee, so any back orders are sent free of further P&P charge. Items will be dispatched as soon as they are in stock.

How do I place an order via the website?

Locate the book(s) you want by using the Book Search function (make sure you click on the correct button stating ISBN, author or title). Once you have found the book you want, click on the Buy Book button, then follow the instructions! A message will warn you that you are moving into a secure site. Click yes to continue.

1. Your shopping basket
You will be shown the contents of your shopping basket. You can choose to Continue Shopping. Once you have all the books you want in your basket, please check the quantities. If you remove or add any books at this stage, be sure to click on the *Recalculate button to update your basket.

The sub-total and grand-total are shown. Post and packaging (P&P) charges are calculated based on standard delivery to your specified country. If you change the delivery method or country further on, this will change accordingly. You will be advised in the Payment Details section of the final P&P charge.

2. Your customer details
If you have already registered, please click on Log In and enter your username and password.
If you have not already registered, you will need to fill in your details.
Please click on the Deliver to a Different Address button if the delivery address is different to the credit card billing address.
Under Post & Packaging method, choose whether you would prefer Standard Delivery or Courier Delivery.
A full listing of delivery charges is shown.
Click on Apply Changes to ensure any changes are picked up.

3. Your payment details
An Order Summary shows your final sub-total, P&P charge and grand-total.

Under Card Details, select a payment method, enter your card number and expiry date. Your payment details will be encrypted and dealt with securely.

Complete your purchase by clicking on Buy Now. If any details have been missed out, you will be alerted and asked to provide them.
You will be given an Order Number and a summary of your order.
You will also receive a summary of this order by e-mail.

Don't forget to click on Save My Information
If you haven't previously registered, click on Save My Information and fill in some security questions to speed up shopping next time you buy online. This will also allow you to access your personal SmartReceipt and follow your order. You will be able to check on the shipping status of your books. Alternatively, you may Register for Online Shopping before you start shopping for the first time.

Click on the Catalogue button to return to the McGraw-Hill Education website.

What's the advantage of registering and saving my information?

Registering before you start shopping, or after you have completed your first order, takes only a few minutes. You will be asked to choose a password, username and security question. The advantage of registering is that your information is saved so next time you shop online, your details are automatically entered on the order form. You can update your profile whenever you wish. The first time you use the shopping basket after registering, you have the option to choose whether or not to save your credit card details.

Registering will also allow you to access your personal SmartReceipt and follow your order. You will be able to check on the shipping status of your books.

How do I update my account information?

You can update your account information, such as a change in name, address or e-mail, by clicking on Modify My Profile, under the Online Shopping Menu.

What happens if I forget my password?

Click on Modify My Profile, then click on Cancel. Choose the option to look up your password. You will be asked to enter your user name and e-mail address. You will then be asked your security question. You can now set a new password. When prompted, enter your username and new password and you will enter the Modify My Profile section. Click on any of the top links to go back to the website.

How do I track the progress of my order?

When your order has been submitted and accepted, you will receive an e-mail containing a Smart Receipt. At any time, you can click on the link in the e-mail and check the progress of your order. It will also contain a tracking number and a link to Securicor so you can track your order if you wish.

What happens if my book is not available immediately?

Availability information is included on each book's information page. As we process your order, we will remind you by e-mail if any items you order are on back order. These will be dispatched to you as soon as they enter the warehouse. You have the option to cancel the order before the books are dispatched should you should wish to do so.

When do we charge your credit card?

We will not charge your credit card until we dispatch each part of your order. P&P will be charged when the first part of your order is dispatched to you.

Cancelling an order

If you wish to cancel an order, or part of an order, that has not been dispatched, please contact Customer Services on +44 (0)1628 502720 or e-mail emea_queries@mcgraw-hill.com and quote your order number or the Smart Receipt order reference if you ordered online.

How secure is ordering online?Your personal information is password protected so only you can access it.
Your information will be collected and posted to a 46-bit key encrypted secure socket layer (SSL) server. You will be prompted before entering the SSL and, if you click on 'OK', the next pages will have a little yellow padlock in the bottom-right corner of the screen. This indicates that you are browsing in a secure server area.
